If you’re struggling with sadness, anxiety, anger or frustration, I want you to know this is not who you are in your heart. It’s a phase you are moving through.

Allow Your Inner Gold to Shine
Can I gently suggest it is possible to move through these feelings and allow your inner gold to shine. Rest in the the feelings you are experiencing, but know they are not permanent. The feelings of stress, frustration, anger and sadness are simply that – feelings. These feelings can be magnified to uncomfortable extremes when you have a hormonal imbalance. But they are not who you are and they are impermanent. The feelings will always change.
If you have experienced emotional stress or hormonal mood swings for long enough, these feelings can start to feel as though they are the “real you”. But they are not. Emotional distress can be magnified to uncomfortable extremes when you have a hormonal imbalance. But these feelings are not who you are and they are impermanent. When you learn how to balance your hormones naturally and support your stress response, you can transform emotional distress into positive well-being.
If you release your identification and attachment to your feelings, you will find some peace and distance that will allow your emotions to move and change. This will reveal the hidden gem that is buried within you.
Think of it Like Mining for Gold
Imagine yourself patiently and gently sifting through silt and mud and dross. Be gentle. Be patient with yourself most of all. Forgive yourself and share the same compassion that you extend to others with your own inner being.
Take the time to rest and gently sift through the silt. Eventually the feelings will change. The clouds will part and the sun will shine again. The rays of the sun will stream down upon you and you will notice tiny specks of gold lying in the bottom of your gold pan. As you continue rinsing these specks of gold, you will feel clearer and clearer. As you watch the sunlight reflecting off those specks, enjoy the increased feelings of confidence. Know that these same specks of gold are lying within you, waiting to be discovered. This is what it can feel like to recover from a hormonal imbalance and transform hormonal mood swings into a vibrant state of well-being.
